'Young Rebel Star' Prabhas's new flick 'Darling' held its pooja today morning at producer 'Chatrapathi' Prasad's office. Only the film crew attended the launch ceremony of the film. Karunakaram is directing this love story. Kajal Agarwal is selected as the female lead. Top Tamil actor Prabhu will be donning a vital role. Bhogavally Prasad is producing this film on Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra banner.
Karunakaran's father Alagar Swamy clapped the clapboard and Prabhas, himself directed the first shot.
Director Karunakaran said, "This is not a routine love story. This movie reminds us about a lot of real incidents in society. To say, this is a love story mixed with action elements."
Prabhas said, "I liked the script as soon as Karunakaran narrated to me. This is a different love story that touches new dimension."
GV Prakash would compose music for this film. Andrews handles camera and Peter Hynes provides action sequences. This movie starts rolling from July.
