Ananthapuram 1980 Audio released:



Ananthapuram-1980’ the Telugu version of Tamil super hit ‘Subrahmanyapuram’, is soon releasing. Swathi of ‘Ashta Chemma’ fame as heroine, Sasi kumar and Jai in the lead roles. The audio was launched on 27th April at Prasad Labs. M Ranganath has produced the flick under Simhapuri Talkies banner. The movie was both directed and produced by Sasi Kumar in Tamil. Pokuri Babu Rao released the audiocassette and presented the first one to Madala Ravi. Actress Kajal Agarwal launched the audio CD and gave it to Bheemineni Srinivasa Rao. Swathi, Sasi Kumar, Shashank Vennelakanti, Veera Shankar, Paras Jain, M Ranganath , Narendra and others attended the function. Speaking on this occasion Swathi said: “I am very happy for the film is being dubbed in Telugu as I wanted that film to reach the Telugu audience. The movie was a big hit in Tamil. I hope that the audio and flick will get the support of audiences”. M Ranganath said: The film’s story revolves around five youngsters who fall into the trap of opportunistic politicians. It will be interesting to watch how the hero gets cheated in the name of love. Thought not a factionist film, it has a resemblance to the environs of Ananthapuram. Plotted on a path breaking theme, it is packed with suspense and has a message for youth. Jai, Ganja Karuppu, Samudhirakani and others are in the main cast. James Vasanthan composed the tunes for the lyrics composed by Vennelakanti. Dialogues are penned by Shashank Vennelakanti. The movie is slated for release on 1st of May.
