Sex Bomb Namitha is going to play a police officer in ‘Desadrohi’ After playing a vamp in Billa, Namita will be playing a cop in her next Telugu film Desadrohi. She expressed happiness about doing an action film. “I love to do action roles,” she says. To fit into the role, she has shed lots of weight. “I know that actress Vijaya Shanti was popular in cop roles and if I can do just 10 percent of her performance, I’ll be satisfied,” she adds. She also intends to do the dare-devil action without a ‘bodydouble’. The film is a action packed entertainer and it will be directed by KS Nageswara Rao. The director will commence work shortly and the shooting will be held in Hyderabad, Chennai, Delhi and Rajasthan ‘The film will have a young hero and a young and dynamic director. The film will have interesting and exciting encounters between the police and Naxalites The film will be produced by Jyothi Prasad on the banner of Sridevi Cine Chitra. Sarath Chandra who played hero in the film ‘Three’ will be the male lead. More details are awaited. Brahmanandam and Vadivelu are expected to play together in this film.
